Kindness
It has been WAY too long since I have posted anything on our blog. This week the whole school is focusing on kindness. It is our class goal for the week! We have been working on completing five different acts of kindness daily. Our weekly social cognition lesson will also focus on kindness. Students have been receiving kindness tickets, if I catch them being kind. Tomorrow we will start our day by watching this video. Random Acts of Kindness

Tooth Tutor!
We had a visit from the tooth tutor today. We learned about how to keep our teeth healthy!
Be on the lookout in Thursday folders for two important papers! One is a list of What Good Readers Do. This is a great list of strategies to be encouraging at home. Students should spend about ten minutes a day reading to themselves, a family member, or being read to! There will also be a list of sight words that students can practice reading and writing at home. Different lists will come home throughout the school year. Thanks for helping your child learn!
