Week of February 9, 2015
We explored magnets during science. We discussed what magnets have to do with force and motion.
We played Tens Go Fish during math. We want to be fluent with our combinations of 10.
We made Valentine's Day mailboxes for our celebration!

Week of February 2, 2015
We have been working on fractions this week! We learned about halves and fourths and how they have to be equal pieces!
We also played a game called Make Ten. We want to be fluent in our combinations of ten!
We did another experiment in science. We studied how the incline of our ramp affected how far the ball rolled. We measured the distances with Popsicle sticks.
We had a publishing party to celebrate finishing our informational writing unit. Students read their teaching books to some of their classmates. We also celebrated with apple juice and a cookie!
