We had E.L.F. this week. We learned about trees and twigs!
We had three third grade experts come and show us how to tap maple trees! They did a great job teaching, and it was very exciting to taste the sap!
Mrs. Jop came in on Thursday. She taught us how to make a new kind of book. It is called an Accordion Book. We are using them for the "How To" pieces we have been working on.
Math Centers
Students worked on the Telling Time app and the Base Ten Fun app on the Ipads. This was our second week of our Math Problem Box center. Students are busy writing story problems, and solving different story problems in their Math Journals. Students worked with Ms. Henault on subtracting 10 from a number.
